Setting limits in a non-directive play therapy space can be difficult. How does a play therapist figure out where the line is when the goal of play therapy is to trust the young person? This workshop will explore the when and how of setting limits in the child centered play therapy space. Participants will look inward to examine their own needs to stay regulated and keep the space, themself, the client and the therapeutic relationship safe. Practical tips and in the moment practice will be explored so that participants leave the webinar feeling confident and grounded in limit setting! ***Training Objectives: Participants will be able to identify their own needs around limits in a child-directed play therapy space. Participants will develop language for at least two limit setting situations in a play therapy session.
