November 8, 2025 | 10am - 4pm | In-Person Training | 5 CE Hours |
This workshop will allow participants to learn sandplay skills by doing. Using the extensive sandplay collection at Seven Corners Psychotherapy, participants will create sandplays as mock clients as well as act as therapists for their colleagues and practice holding space during the sand tray process. Participants will spend time individually and in groups to understand symbols through personal and collective lenses. It is highly recommended that you take the Intro to Sandplay Therapy training (or an equivalent training) before attending this Skills Lab.
***Training Objectives: To practice holding space during a sand tray process. To experience the power of the sand tray process by creating their own worlds in the sand. To identify personal, cultural, historical and collective meaning of symbols used in sand play therapy. To identify ways to incorporate sandplay into their play therapy practice.
